I had a transom strap break last weekend.

A 2ft one that straps the rear of the boat to the trailer, hooks on both ends.

I'm just wondering where is a good place to get a replacement one...

what kind does every one use...I'm fairly certain these were the originals on an 2002 Lund...I saw some ratchet type at Fleet Farm...not sure if I'll all that crazy about those?

 Ratchets that attach to the trailer are nice unless you drive a bunch of gravel, then you get rocks stuck in there sometimes.  I can show you what they look like and how they work.

I have used these for several years, never had an issue. and you wont ever lose a strap.
 

If we're not supposed to eat animals, how come they're made out of meat?

A transom strap whack across the nipples would hurt like hell.

I have one laying around somewhere from the old boat.  Give me a day to find it.  Are you from the Bis/Mandan area?  If so you can have it..
