That is pretty eye opening. I wouldn't have guessed that. Yeah if you can get a hold of an "used" engine like that and it is brand new I would probably go for it. Going to troll down nicely for pulling cranks.

I thought your engine completely crapped the bed? Or was it fixable?

Tim I was leaning towards the 140 but mark out of river city told me that i would only see a couple mph more top end and that the 115 would have more hole shot. I just want somthing that is gonna start every time and that I can have a conversation while pulling cranks. I hated my engine

Yeah, lots of people opted for the 135 Opti. But man, I don't know if I can get over the noise. I mean, not terrible but not as good as a clear 4 either. Would be a tough call. Talk about a sweet setup though with a Warrior. You get the Big Tiller steering PLUS ability to use Warrior's hookup. I think anyway. Maybe you cannot utilize both? Never asked that question before.

Well, the transducer on the depth finder was flipped up a little and my old man didn't know it, we has traveling upstream in the missouri river with a 40-50MPH wind behind him last fall, thought he was in 8 feet, was in 6 inches. Hit the bar with the wind and the current both pushing him onto the bar. The water filled the boat but it did not sink because the sanbar was keeping it up right...the yamaha finally pulled it off of the bar and as soon as the support from the sand underneat was gone, it flipped. Lucky nobody died because it was cold and dangerous.

I have never flied up that river faster, we were about 12 miles away, then when I got that phone call. I thought I was going to be plucking my old man and friends out of the river, but instead somebody beat me to them and they were shivering away like wet rats! Funny now, but not so funny then.
