posted by: luveyes. Just got my Trophy 24p 4 blade back from DAH in WI. They claim with me moving some weight around, adjusting my jackplate, and the reworked prop I should see as much as 7-10 MPH improved top-end. Kinda excited to find out. The prop sure is purdy with no rash on it!!

Overall diameter is a factor also. Sportfish is running 13 3/4. I tried the exact same prop 25 pitch 4 blade, only in 14 1/4 and couldn't lift the bow out of the water.

posted by: Sportfish. I12fish nailed it. I run the old school 225 EFI and this prop absolutely rocks with my boat. I run the four blade version. I would love to try a three blade and a jack plate to see if I could get 70 MPH out of it.

I was in cabelas today and they had a 21 pitch three blade ballistic in the bargain cave for 223 dollars for any lookers.

He's got the perfect storm for speed though, all batteries are wired to the front so weight distribution is right, and for that heavy a boat, hole shot is excellent. The motor smokes like a pig at first but runs hot. I've been in it at 67 mph. I've also been side by side with it alone and in it racing down the lake in tournaments. On flat water there's not a walleye boat around that will stay with it. Rough water however is a completely different story...:)

I have the exact same boat with the Optimax. I get twice the gas mileage and I run a 3 blade Tempest. I've hit 61.8 once but most days will run from 57-59.

Its an awesome prop on my heavy walleye boat (triton 205) and it won atleast one prop competition when I bought it several years ago on a 620 ranger. I have two of them one is a 23 P witch is my all around prop, for tubing and fishing and a 25P I use purely for bragging rights.
