Report Details
I have an informal survey for you guys.

1.Thinking back to 2010 and comparing to 2011 how would you rate the catfishing on the Red River?
2. Did you have better or worse luck?
3.Were the fish you caught bigger or smaller?
4. What was your average fish lenth for both years?
4.Add any other thoughts or comments you can think of too?

Thanks in advance.

1. I would rate the river this last summer at about a 5 out of 10 , mainly due to high river levels.

2. worse

3. smaller

4. 2010 probably 30 '' biggest fish that year was 28 lbs
2011 probably 28 '' biggest last summer was 24 lbs

5. overall it still was a good year for fishing but the high river levels messed with a lot of my spots and i just didnt feel like getting out to dangerous and not worth it.
 6. the Red Lake River was a total different story, caught bigger and averaged bigger fish on the red lake summer of 2011. gotta love going out on a river and having it all to your self, last summer it was kind of a diamond in the ruff

1 rather poor due to high water

2 worse

3 smaller

4 caught some nice ones up to around 20# last year  but hardly any thissummer.

5 didn't make it out hardly at all untill fall. Had fun catching a varity of smaller stuff in the Park River and good number of pike, sauger, and walleye at Drayton this fall.
