Was out on the water most of the day. Found a few nice spots that had crappies that were active and very shallow. Fished the afternoon using a bobber and tear drop. When evening came around we fished the east side of the lake and had some nice fish that were caught. 3 eyes and 2 pike. The eyes were all in the slot though so didn't bring home any dinner. Nice day of fishing though. May head back out there this week.

I was just curious if anyone has any idea on how the fishing is on this lake. We are renting a cabin on the lake and I was looking for some areas to take the little one for some panfish action or bass or anything I guess. I know it's a decent walleye lake, but would like to find something a bit more fast paced for the little guy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Rush Lake - Thursday, December 6, 2007 | |
I darkhouse speared Rush Lake on December 3. I started on the north side and had about 4 feet of clarity. I did not see a fish or even a tip up go off in 3 hours. I moved to the south side of the highway 12 grade just off the rip rap. I speared a 3 pound northern after staring at the hole for 4 more hours. No tip ups all day. Has anybody been spearing any other lakes?
