The University of Montana came from behind in the Big Sky Tournament championship game to beat Weber State 66-65 and seal a spot in the NCAA Tournament field of 64.  Even have some local boys on the team (Selvig from Glendive and Qvale from Williston).  Anybody smelling an upset in the first round?

It depends on there seed of course, but i doubt they'll get out of the first round. they will probably be a 13 or 14 seed. But, who knows...everyone seems pretty beatable this year. The tournament is gonna be awesome though.

Weakest at-large field in years.  Still, Montana cannot go to the tournament and play a first half like they did last night or they will get blown out.  Play two halves like the second and they could pull out a W.

Big Sky needs a more TV friendly venue.  I've watched the final the last two years and it is too dark or something.  Also, why isn't it in HD?  Every other final on the Deuce is.

Great game last night.  First time I have gotten to see Selvig play.  Haven't even seen him since I was about a 4th grader and his parents moved away to Glendive.  Kid's a monster now!!

Anyway, they pulled off the 1st round win a few years ago and I think they can do it again (as long as they don't get screwed and face Syracuse or Duke 1st rd), haha.

And while we are on the topic of the Griz.  Who's gonna trek to Missoula next November for the Griz-Sioux football game?  I will be there sporting Sioux gear (and probably a few snowballs and beers to my head too).

Without a doubt, coming out into nature is one of the neatest things there is to do, but you also have to be careful. That’s why I always try to pack the heat — try to pack a gun. Just a little bit — pack some heat. Now this isn’t too — this isn’t much of a big boy, I don’t want to kill the animal, but I do want to warn it, and say “hey, I think you’re pretty neat, but I respect your distance.” There’s bears out here, there’s mountain cougars, and biting goats.

I don't think that will go well.  Should be a good test to see where they are though.
