Well I went to Lake of the Woods for the 1st time in the 4 years Ive lived here. I asked myself the whole way way home why I dont go there more often! WOW, talk about a fishery. Ive never seen towns that revolve that much around fishing (Warroad and  Pine Island area) Plenty of local help for a rookie to find fish, and find fish we did! Also saw a pack of wolves about 200 yards off the road between warroad and Morris Point, that was awesome. Ive already reserved my cabin for me and the boy next week, if you've never been, GO!

Sauger were biting on frostees tipped with a minnow head 6 miles out of Morris Point@ 32 FOW, walleye were suspended from 23-28ft, with one nice one off the bottom on a deadstick. Caught 25 fish in 4 hours between three of us, my buddy that took us said it was a slow day...

Summer on the Missouri kicks the crap out of low! Winter you can have it!
Wonderful Reagan quote that says it like it is! "It isn't that Liberals are ignorant. It's just that they know so much that isn't so."
