Im thinking about getting a tatoo of a european mount on my back. Does anybody have any cool hunting tatoos? Where is a good place to get a detailed tattoo that will look nice when they are done.

fsh and hnt,

my friend just got one......the same thing that you happen to want. Except he got the european mount on his calf. He got it in minot at a new place that just came into town but the detail on the tatoo is very amazing i'll try and find the info for the place for you as i don't know it off the top if my head!

i think some large deer tracks would look cool on the back of both calfs if done right... as for the artist, Jason Doll of bis is the way to go, check his site..it shows some of his work.

I have 4 hunting tatoos, well 2 are from one tatoo. I have the chinese symbol to hunt on the inside of my arm, I have the outline of a guy with a bow, mule deer cape and horns in his backpack hiking on my back and my favorite an arrow going threw my body. The fletchings sticking out behind my arm and a broadhead coming out the opposite rib cage. Can't wait to get some more just remember your tatoo has to look good to one and only one person U!!!!

I agree, Jason Doll in Bismarck does amazing work, he has been working on my right arm, a sleeve piece, awesome work. What kind of detail can be in a pike tattoo that has to be wrapped 96 times in an inch?

Racetrack? Isn't that where a bunch of guys hang out drinking beer? Probably racing midgets?

I've always been more impressed by results than advertising. Given that I'd as soon spend the time/money afield in search of a critter large enough for taxidermy work of some manner.

Yeah but that's not advertising any manner of hunting prowess. (grin)
