Whats your favorite brew

I have really enjoyed an oatmeal stout made here in Duluth by Lake Superior Brewing Company

My go to get it done is bud light

But more and more I am enjoying beers with some flavor to them.

Has any completed the world beer tour at old chicago?

Whats your favorite?

Sprecher!!  It is a brewery in Milwaukee.  My favorite of theirs is the Abby Tripple, it is around 8.4% alchohol.  I usually have a limit of three and need to move on to the old stand by of Miller High Life.  If ever in the Milwaukee area I recommend picking some up.

Do you really have to ask?
Busch Light! Not Lite!!!
The kill is the satisfying, indeed essential, conclusion to a successful hunt. But, I take no pleasure in the act itself. One does not hunt in order to kill, but kills in order to have hunted. Then why do I hunt? I hunt for the same reason my well-fed cat hunts...because I must, because it is in the blood, because I am the decendent of a thousand generations of hunters. I hunt because I am a hunter.- Finn Aagard

I could never pin myself down to a single style or brand of beer.  I am currently going through a phase where I enjoy the big belgian trappist ales, so I really like Chimay Blue and also Westamall dubble...both awesome.

My favorite session beer is my own personally brewed American Pale Ale that uses 2 ounces of summit hops from the west coast and marris otter malt from England. .  It is very similar to Widmer Drifter, but with a little more of a malty backbone...really hoppy with a citrus/grapefruit arrom.

I currently have a belgian strong ale fermenting that should be ready in about 9 months....I am fermenting it with yeast that I cultured from a bottle of belgian chimay trappist ale.  It will approach %12 ABV by the time it is finished and be deceptevely light and smooth.

I have 4 pounds of hops in my freezer and a small refridgerator dedicated to the culturing of yeast strains for brewing.  I think I might be starting to lose my mind a little.

I can't remember the last time I had a corn, rice and malt based fermented beverage from a large American brewery.  Not that I don't like them or won't drink them, well they do taste like piss water, but on a nice hot day a little ice cold, carbonated, mass produced, heavily advertised, american light style lager is nice.

I like the way you think regarding the last paragraph.  How hard is it to get into home brewing do you need a lot of room?

In Heaven there is no beer
(No beer?!)
That's why we drink it here
And when we're all gone from here
Our friends will be drinking all the beer.

It is easy as crap, just get a starter kit from www.midwestsupplies.com and go from there.  I graduated to a full blow grain mashing system just like the big boys.

You don't need much room at all, and if you ever need advice just PM me or post a message...I love all things beer, I love driking it, making it, reading about it, talking about it..etc..etc..  I have even tossed around the idea of hanging a bag of hops around my rearview mirror as an air freshener!  I am a loser.

Guiness is great, a classic dry irish stout, carbonated with tiny little nitrogen bubbles.

Over in England Grolsh is like Bud or Busch Light you can get it cheap. I laugh when I see how much they charge for it here.

My favorite but has to be on tap is Cafferys that stuff was amazing.

How do they classify ales because they said it was an ale but it tasted nothing like other ales I have had
