checked oyut the links to donate venison. Every year I only shoot the deer I and my family will eat in a year. But this year it looks like I'm going to take a few more does. Called some certified deer processors and they all stated that end-users of donated venison are very appreciative and that they will take any deer available. The processor in isle- the closest to my hunting spots will take deer up until 5 every day and only ask that the hunter pay $32 for processing. Sounds like a great deal for the me, the DNR (more use of managment tags), the food shelves, and end users...I get to enjoy my hobby a bit more and maybe make a difference in someone's life.
