devils lake drivabilty

Whats the the lake like? Is their much snow cover? Can a pickup go most places? Is it a fourwheeler much help?   Thanks guys

I heard on McFeelings' show this afternoon, it's all good for driving.  Snow is not an issue.

Driving around last week was pretty good.  I found 16-20 inches of ice and snow wasn't bad.  Respect the ice.

Pickups fell thru at Knutsons--8 inches of ice--Stay out. Becareful of pressure ridges as they change daily--DONT CROSS

Saw that last weekend.  Most bays I've been on this season have been no problem.  Again most, accesses aren't drifted up too bad at all.  Last Sunday they started to get there in Black Tiger.  But I'm sure there have been many people out all week and the weather has been good.  Headed back in the morning!
